Our client is seeking CAD Draughtsperson to facilitate the design and production of complex drawings for clients.

The role also assists in other areas where CAD work is required, working in a small team it's an excellent role for recent graduates, and the scopeof the role and the opportunity to grow and develop have great potential.

This role will suit a Postgraduate who has pursued an education in product design or a similar course where the use of CAD has been an essential element.

There may also be the opportunityto travel for site visits.


Job Description:


  • To provide PA and administrative support as required across a range of areas, including managing diaries, responding to external enquiries, facilitating, and taking minutes of business meetings, and monitoring the completion of actions.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy in collating and logging data onto the system and other quality improvement initiatives to allow timely and effective reporting and analysis by the Quality Officer.
  • To produce accurate data and information to inform relevant reports for senior management.
  • To take responsibility for maintaining a robust Microsoft 365 filing system
  • To provide organisation and administrative support to the Director in projects, including but not limited to, organising events, liaising with internal and external contacts, servicing meetings, and providing ontheday support at events.
  • To meet and greet visitors and ensure that appropriate arrangements have been made, for example, room bookings and arrangement of refreshments as necessary.
  • To ensure the smooth running of the office by monitoring and placing orders for stationery and kitchen stock, maintaining the professional appearance of the office, and reporting maintenance issues.
  • To process booking requests for the boardroom and service meetings where appropriate including furniture layout, AV requirements, and refreshments.
  • To maintain efficient systems in filing, photocopying, and distribution of documentation initiated responded to, and/or received.
  • To produce a range of documents to a high standard of presentation and accuracy, including proofreading of these documents.
  • To assist with updating and maintaining various computerised records and systems
  • Understanding of complex drawings
  • Have knowledge of drawing principles and geometry creation to enable effective CAD work.
  • Have experience in creating drawings using 2D or 3D drawing packages such as AutoCAD LT, Civil 3D, Autodesk Architecture, CATIA, SolidWorks, and 3ds or similar.
  • A professional and wellpresented individual
  • Full clean driving license
  • Knowledge of engineering design principles

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm


Salary:
£22,250 Then Rising To £22,750 When Fully Trained
