About Our Client:

This organisation is a major player in the retail sector, operating on a national scale.

The company prides itself on its dedicated team of professionals who work tirelessly to ensure smooth operations in all its departments, including Accounting & Finance.

The Account Payable Clerk will;

Process all incoming invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure payments are up to date.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and handle any invoice disputes.
Assist in monthly and yearly closing processes.
Prepare reports detailing accounts payable status.
Work closely with the finance team to improve payment procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
Support any additional responsibilities as needed within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant:

A successful Account Payable Clerk should have:

A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
