This part-time post will require the commitment of 40% of WTE (Whole Time Equivalent) or two days from Fellow to take part in the specified programme activities based at the LCHS (Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust), while they will be able to continue agreed clinical commitments up to 60% of WTE or three days based at their lead employer (e.g., another NHS Trust or Primary Care Network).

The fellow will continue to be clinically supervised by an educational/clinical supervisor from their parent specialty/employer who will be responsible for the trainee's development with respect to their clinical work.

To undertake a key project linked to the 'Enhancing Generalist Training Programme within Lincolnshire'

To support the locality lead of the programme and project team in successful establishment and implementation of Enhance Lincolnshire Generalist Training Programme

To participate in relevant teaching, research, and quality improvement activities, particularly in collaboration with other partner sites (Derby, Coventry)

To develop own leadership skills in driving education and training reform in alignment with Enhance programme

To act as an ambassador for the programme by promoting it at relevant events and within relevant professional groups

To support the locality lead of the programme and project team in
- scoping, developing, and maintaining training capacities/capabilities of various placement locations within the trust for IMT (Internal Medicine Trainees) so that their learning is in alignment with Enhance learning outcomes
- coordinating community placement rota for trainees
- identifying and engaging with local stakeholders and partners for additional training and educational opportunities available within the trust and wider local health and care communities
- supporting IMT trainees in learning through engagement in a 'Team Around the Patient' initiative and assist in developing skills enabling them to work across boundaries and with multiple teams in an integrated manner
- development/refinement of Enhance curriculum/syllabus for IMT trainees in collaboration with the Enhance faculty
- evaluation of the programme at local and regional levels to assess its effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- establishing close working relationships with other Enhance trailblazer sites (Derby, Coventry) via workshops and regular meetings

To attend and complete relevant training, learning and development opportunities including mandatory training to support the role

To develop initiatives within local trust towards establishment of medical educational/teaching facilities

To participate in CPD/PDP activities to meet appraisal and revalidation requirements

To be an effective team player within the multi-professional team

To maintain high standard of practice and professional behaviour always expected of a health care professional as stipulated by GMC
