We have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising and Development Officer to generate income and develop relationships with partners and supporters in this flexible, hybrid-working role.
If you don't have fundraising experience, then we still want to hear from you if you have experience of generating revenue in areas such as sales, sponsorship, membership services etc.

Part-time, 32 hours per week (flexible working available)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000, pro-rata

**The Role
**As Fundraising and Development Officer, you will have the opportunity to help shape strategy, lead on exciting projects and build an impressive track record across income generation, stakeholder development and event management.
Duties include:
- Coordinate and manage fundraising across multiple income streams including trust, major donor and corporate
- Lead fundraising and income generation for key projects
- Support the planning and delivery of two annual events
- Build relationships with charitable trusts, foundations and other institutional funders
- Manage and develop the membership and regular donor strategy
- Build relationships with high profile and high net worth individuals as potential supporters of the organisation
- Develop a programme to encourage and facilitate the giving of legacy gifts to the Society
- Prepare reports and give presentations on fundraising progress to the Executive Team and the Management Board
About You
Ideally, you will have experience of fundraising in any of the following income streams: Trusts, Major Donors, Community Fundraising or Corporate.
These can include experience of generating income in areas such as partnerships, sponsorship or membership services or B2B corporate sales.
You will be asked to provide a CV detailing your experience.
About the Organisation
The charity exists to promote Scottish dancing globally as a fun, friendly, inclusive and healthy activity, which can be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere.
The Society is governed by an elected Board, which is supported by three Committees.
Day to day management of the Society is delegated to the Chief Operating Officer, who leads a small team of 5 in the Edinburgh office.
You may have experience in areas such as Fundraising, Fundraiser, Trust Fundraising, Trust Fundraiser, Major Donor Fundraising, Major Donor Fundraiser, Corporate Fundraising, Corporate Fundraiser, Income Generation, Business Development, Business Development Manager, BDM, Business Development Executive, Account Manager, Sales, Sales Executive, Sales Development.
