Area Sales Manager / Sales Representative - Automotive Aftermarket A
Field Sales / Territory Representative is required to join the successful
aftermarket team of a global OEM and
aftermarket automotive components manufactureras an
Area Sales Manager. Our client is a brand leader with a huge market share across their product range.


Field role covering Northeast of England -ideal locations - York, Leeds, Harrogate, Thirsk, Darlington, Middlesborough, Castleford, Selby, Haxby, Northallerton


Circa £36,000 Basic (DOE) + 10% Bonus + Car + Excellent Pension + Healthcare + Life Assurance + Lunch Allowance + 25 days annual leave
The Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will manage and develop business in the above Sales territory.

  • Support and
    develop business through all
    aftermarket distribution channels.
  • Take responsibility for achieving the area target through a wellplanned call strategy that provides sufficient coverage of the territory.
  • Provide training to customers staff on
    catalogues,
    sales techniques and
    product knowledge.
  • Investigate fully any service problems.
  • Promotes the
    features and
    benefits of the whole product range.
  • Work with customers to make sure they are aware of any local or national programmes that may benefit their business.
  • Keep accurate and up to date records and reports.
  • Report to the National Sales Manager with competitor activity, new developments or potential distributors within the area.
  • Attend race days, exhibitions and trade shows as required.

Personal attributes should include:

  • Excellent
    communication skills with the ability to build a strong relationship with customers.

Confident with strong
presentation abilities.

  • A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Drivenand
enthusiastic, ideally with a passion for the automotive industry, cars and engines.

  • Selfmotivated with ability to manage own diary to maximum effect.
  • Able to work away from home, nights away, as required.
