Immediate start for SEN Teaching Assistant at a primary school in Islington, North London

This is a 1:1 role in Year 4 for a child with autism and mild ADHD.

  • 1:1 role working in a Year 4 for a long term role to start in January
  • Join an outstanding primary school for the rest of the academic year

  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs in a primary school ideally in KS2 required


As a SEN TA at the school, you will be assigned to a Year 4 and be 1:1 with an autistic child who needs additional support to stay engaged with the lesson and stay at his desk.

The child is academically bright and will progress very well given the right support.


For this SEN Teaching Assistant role we need an enthusiastic practitioner who has previous experience working with autistic children and is confident to implement boundaries and help the child progress in class.
