Join us as an Employment Policy & Governance Specialist Consultant

What you'll do:


As an Employment Policy & Governance Specialist Consultant, you'll be managing assurance, policies and governance processes on behalf of our bank, challenging leaders to make sure quality standards are applied and working with colleagues across control functions and HR on any action plans.


Alongside this, you'll be undertaking line management responsibilities and helping with the development and coaching of your team, while providing technical policy advice on the design of solutions and drawing on other specialist teams where appropriate.


Your top priorities will include:

  • Preparing papers for senior stakeholder boards, both within our function and at relevant committees
  • Driving external and internal insights to shape our policy strategies, designs and solutions
  • Managing risks and issues and making sure that they're delivered in line with our change risk governance

The skills you'll need:


Furthermore, you'll need:

  • Experience of working with business leaders and partners in specialist HR functions
  • Knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations and risk management
  • Consulting skills and a background within a regulatory and commercial environment
  • Experience of managing and influencing senior stakeholders and delivering projects from inception to embedding
