Purpose of the role:


The role of Stock Controller is an essential part of the retail function as this roles supports the day to day activities of the team and the store.


We are looking for someone who is attentive, reliable, full of energy, organised, punctual with interest in back of house operations and managing stock levels.

The Stock Controller will receive and processing deliveries, ensuring stock security in the back of house area while keeping the area organised and up to the company's standards


Expectations of the role:


Ø Operations:

  • Control and manage any stock discrepancies
  • Follow company policy and procedure
  • Maintain the replenishment of bags, boxes etc
  • Follow up stock transfers between stores and manage the faulty items procedure with the support from the manager
  • Processing the deliveries
  • Have an awareness of the loss prevention procedures in store and communicate these to the team
  • Execute the loss prevention procedure and conducts regular inventories (weekly and annually)
  • Support and training of the store team on operations/ back of house tasks and procedures
  • Ensure the stock room standards are maintained in a clean, tidy condition
  • Follow the health & safety guidelines

Required knowledge & skills:


  • Previous experience in stock controlling
  • Proficient utilization of business systems and latest technology
  • Be a quick learner and good listener
  • You must have excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Understands and delivers a luxurious customer experience
  • Be quick operationally while having strong attention to detail
  • You have to be adaptable and a team player
  • Show passion about the retail and interest in fashion and retail market trends

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
