Travel Sales Specialist - Cycling Tours

You will be working for a leading cycling tour agency, who specialise in creating dream holiday/tour packages across many idyllic destinations, such as: Europe, Asia, New Zealand, Africa, and Middle east.

My client is looking for a Gradate travel sales specialist to join a driven sales team, based in London, near Holborn station.

The Salary Package is between £22-25k + £30k OTE 1st year, and continues to increase in year 2, and so on The role is working 4 daysin the offices, and 1-day WFH.

This role is a B2C position, and you will be dealing with warm inbound inquiries made via the website. You must be driven, passionate about cycling, and enjoy working in a sales environment

You must have:

  • A passion for cycling
  • A team player with great communication skills and an outstanding telephone manner.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask
  • Determined to achieve sales targets and KPI's and thrives under pressure
  • Reliable with great attention to detail
  • Previous telesales experience (desirable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with warm customer enquiries daily, making outbound calls and scheduling call backs on the CRM.
  • Build strong rapports with customers and use effective questioning and conversational techniques to identify customer requirements
  • Advise customers on the destinations, hotels, excursions, rides, bikes, flights, and ancillary travel arrangements amongst other things to build the perfect experience and close the sale.
  • Liaising with venues, travel providers, bike suppliers and various other vendors/clients to book every aspect of customers experience.
  • Consistently working to achieve individual and sales targets / KPI's
  • Maintain a high level of destination knowledge at all times
  • Offer a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Building long standing relationships with customers and proactively engaging with them posttravel to help initiate repeat bookings.
