Description
Acorn by Synergie is assisting their client in the recruitment of a Switchboard/Helpdesk Operator in Durham.

You will provide an effective, efficient and responsive Switchboard service for the Durham and Darlington Acute Hospital Trust.

You will be joining a team of staff who work to provide a continuous telephone switchboard service in a very busy environment.

You will work under the direction of the Service Supervisor and Management Staff to provide a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors to the hospital.


Description:

  • Operation of the switchboard console and bleep system
  • Call handling of outgoing and incoming calls in high volumes
  • Operation of a 24hour emergency call response

Skills:


  • Previous switchboard experience desirable

Location:
University Hospital of North Durham


Salary:
£10.37 per hour

Hours:
Shift work or rota including days, nights and weekends between the hours of 7am and 7pm

A Basic DBS will be required for this position and we will assist in processing this on your behalf.
