This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for
UX Designer who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company's technical offerings.

The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):

Effectively utilizes a variety of research and data to better understand and design for user needs and to inform design decisions, validate hypotheses and document insights
Seeks out timely feedback and critique as fuel to improve design solutions and strategy; proactively seeks out collaboration and codesign opportunities in order to provide holistic user experiences
Liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements (like graphics and navigation buttons)
Act as liaison between frontend developers, software engineers & project managers to provide feedback and ensure design integrity & consistency across projects.
Has knowledge of prototyping tools or prototyping environments and web coding languages such as HTML, CSS, etc. where relevant to execute their solutions within the scope of their team
Prioritize software development projects, set timelines and assign tasks to team members
Create wireframes to decide on layout
Determines best UX solutions based on customer feedback and business goals and helps to determine overall direction, identifying challenges and adapting as needed based on the context of the solution and customer.
Creates highquality design assets and solutions for their team and track to improve the overarching user experience, usability and accessibility of the product(s)
Run functionality testing and debug code
Collaborate with mobile developers to build mobileresponsive websites.
Conduct competitive analyses of other websites that operate in the same space
Prepare customer analyses based on our target demographic and initial transactions
Participate in creating a content development strategy
Coordinate with UI design team on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design and more
Develop mockups for our development and design team
Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools
UI coding experience & familiarity with UI tech stacks will be preferable.
Experience working for AI/ ML solutions and Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and other design tools will be Preferable.
Understanding of frontend web such as CSS/HTML and general understanding of backend technologies that are required to build out experiences.
Work experience as a Senior Developer.
Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript, Ruby or PHP
Understanding of security practices
Familiarity with network diagnostics tools
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Design, Development or Engineering required
Superior knowledge of all Adobe products, including InDesign and Illustrator
Excellent PC skills required
Advanced understanding of the C2C marketplace and the functions of auction and ecommerce websites
Experience preparing detailed competitive and consumer analyses

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent.**
Salary:GBP 29000 to 40000 per annum**
