**Lead Marketing Analyst
Up to £65,000
London (2 days a week in office)**
Company Overview
Harnham is working exclusively with a British retailer on a Lead Marketing Analyst.

They've recently invested a lot into developing their data architecture and now they are putting their focus on their marketing, sales, and customer data to generate deeperinsights, more accurate forecasts and more effective recommendations.

The role

You will be responsible for:

Delivering analysis that will help the business better understand marketing effectiveness and inform future planning
Capturing and refining requirements for marketing analysis and customer insight projects briefed in by the marketing, ecommerce, and retail teams
Extracting data from their data warehouse and employ analysis and modelling techniques
Presenting back to stakeholders communicating complex information as clear and actionable insights
Building and improving analyses, Tableau reports and models that support ongoing decisionmaking with a particular focus on marketing attribution, customer segmentation and lifetime value
Providing leadership, coaching and direction to the Marketing Data Analyst
Identifying opportunities to improve marketing and wider business performance

The experience
You don't have to tick all of the boxes but if you have some of the following experience:

Experience using data techniques to tackle business problems, ideally related to marketing
Using SQL in querying large data sets
Some experience using, creating and managing dashboards in Tableau
A grasp of mathematics and statistics
An excellent communicator and an ability to connect and influence people across all areas of the business
Proficiency in R
Experience in a data role within the retail sector
