Band 5 RMN (Temporary):

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our dedicated team at Lynfield Mount Hospital in Bradford.

This is a temporary position, with the start date on 14th February 2024 and the end date on 15th February 2024.

As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for our service users.

Your duties will include:

Providing direct nursing care and support to patients with mental health conditions
Assessing and responding to the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients
Administering medications and monitoring patients' responses to treatment
Developing and implementing care plans based on individual patient assessment
Supporting patients in their recovery journey and promoting independence
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
Ensuring accurate recordkeeping and documentation
Participating in clinical supervision, team meetings, and training programs

In order to excel in this role, you will need:

A valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
Experience working in a mental health setting, ideally within the NHS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
A commitment to delivering personcentred care and promoting recovery
The flexibility to work night shifts (Shift start: 19:30:00, Shift end: 08:00:00)
