Classroom Assistant for an Immediate Start in Maidenhead, Berkshire

We have an incredible opportunity to join a fantastic school in the Berkshire area as a Classroom Assistant who is dedicated in supporting children with their educational development.

This is a fulltime role from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4pm.

Prior experience working as a Classroom Assistant would be preferable, but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity (in the UK) where you can obtain references for this.

The Role:

As a Classroom Assistant you will aid teachers in planning and implementing education activities both inside and outside the classroom
Support children, parents and staff through effective communication and active listening skills as a Classroom Assistant
Work along side colleagues to help maintain a safe learning environment for children and staff
Provide individualized attention and adapt support to each child's needs in their learning as a Classroom Assistance

Requirements:

Able to work Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm
Have prior experience with SEN children or be willing to work with SEN
As a Classroom Assistant you will need to effectively build close bonds with children and parents to be able to provide any additional support the children may need
Have or Willing to obtain a Child Only DBS
Either live in Maidenhead or within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
