We have an exciting new opportunity for a
Project Managerto exciting opportunity to join Resource Solutions as a Workforce Consultant.

As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Resource Solutions,and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations.

Additionally, you will get multiple opportunities to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.


The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of change & projects for the client business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leading the management and delivery of medium and large projects, within the agreed time, cost, scope, quality agreed; making sure that the expected benefits can be realised
  • Establishing and ensuring an appropriate project organisation structure (and effective controls) are in place
  • Initiating and overseeing the research and/or business analysis activities as part of the overall programme or project
  • Ensuring appropriate governance is completed e.g., Business Case and regular review is completed, and controls/reporting are in place to review project benefits prior to project closedown.
  • Tracking budget and expenditure associated with the project\s
  • Escalating any deviation from plan and any key risks/issues at the earliest opportunity to the sponsor and/or relevant key stakeholders
  • Ensuring Gating process is adhered to, and all project governance documentation is completed in timely manner, submitted to AGH Gating Review, and approved before proceeding to the next stage. Any exceptions to the Gating process are agreed with the Sponsor/ Head of Business Change

Required Skills/Experience:


  • Experience in financial services / insurance / IPMI preferred
  • Extensive project management experience (minimum of 5 years) with a strong demonstrative delivery record in managing large and complex change projects/programmes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and capable of delivering programmes and projects to time, quality, scope, and budget (this could potentially be a mix of purely Business Change projects and projects with an IT element/deliverable)
  • Trained to Prince2 practitioner level, Agile or equivalent methodology accreditation Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proactive in approach to change (roll up sleeves attitude)
  • Broad knowledge of IPMI and role of an MGA
  • Ability to align own projects to MGA / IPMI strategic goals
  • Manages the RFI/RFP processes with external suppliers (if required)
  • Manages the research and selection process (if required)
