Health Procurement Liverpool (HPL) is a specialist procurement alliance between Alder Hey Childrens Hospital, The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital and The Walton Centre.

Established in 2021, each organisation is an equal partner and of the shared service which is hosted by The Walton Centre NHS Foundation trust.

Collectively our annual non pay expenditure is over £660 million with the Procurement function being responsible for supporting our clinical and business colleagues to ensure all goods and services are procured compliantly, deliver value to our services and most importantly our patients.

HPL currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Procurement professional to join the team as a Receipt & Distribution (R&D) Assistant.

Please note this position is 32.5 hours per week and based in Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital.

The post holder will be required to work closely with the Supply Chain Lead & Logistic Supervisor as part of the Procurement team and across the organisation to develop and maintain close working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to help drive efficiencies throughout the Trust.
