IT Tutor Wanted for Adult Community Based Learning


Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective IT lessons to a diverse group of adult learners
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to support their learning journey
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with team members to ensure that classes are wellorganised and meet the needs of the students
• Complete necessary admin and records to demonstrate learners' registration, attendance and progress within the programme.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification at minimum level
• Proven experience teaching IT to adult learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual learners
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Desirable:

• Experience of working within a grass roots organisation and an understanding of the voluntary and community sector

Hours: 25 hours per week (20 hours teaching, 5 hours preparation, planning and admin)

Contract:
May 1st to July 31st July


Salary:
£17.25 per hour
