Rainbo have an exciting opportunity as a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to offer in an established company that is one of the UK's leading global procurement service providers.

We are based in Crawley, West Sussex, which is an easy commute from London or the south coast.

What will I be responsible for?


As our Supply Chain Coordinator, you will ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and effective manner and consistently meet stated needs and agreed standards and/or requirements.

To ensure the customer is never let down.


Other duties include:

  • Receive files from Procurement Specialists after orders have been placed and check to ensure complete and compliant.
  • Chase suppliers to ensure orders are compliant and completed on time.
  • Ensure correct Country of Origin certification and MSDS information is available.
  • Carry out operational tasks in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure continuous reduction of process and data errors impacting orders.
  • Utilise the company database to complete bookingin, stock and incoming receipt of materials and to record all relevant information and comments.
  • Ensure status reports are updated and appropriately distributed.
  • Expedite suppliers to ensure they comply with purchase order instructions e.g. packing and the provision of photographs.
  • Ensure payment requests and proforma/order acknowledgements are correct and on file.

You will be proactive with a positive 'can do' attitude and the ability to think on your feet and learn quickly.


You will also have:

  • Good attention to detail with the ability to consistently record and relay accurate information.
  • Used to working in a SME environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build appropriate professional working relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers alike.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to work outside contracted hours when required.
