The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an experienced
Flexible Hours Trainer/Assessor to join the
Science team to** help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.


The Role:


You will be required to assess the skills and knowledge for Pharmacy Level 2 students and assess the skills of students for the Pharmacy Level 3 qualification.

You will support for your students, workplaces, and your colleagues.


The role requires you to conduct face to face workplace visits to see students, complete observations, complete professional discussions, and complete regular reviews with them.

You will also deliver knowledge to students on these face-to-face visits. Update workplaces regularly with the progress of these students and support enrolment for new students.


Organise own diary to suit the needs to workplaces and students and due to the role, you must be willing to travel all over the Northwest along with attending team meetings with the Pharmacy team.


About you:


You will need to have good communication skills and approachable and be able to organise your own workload whilst working as part of a team and have good initiative.

You will assess student's knowledge and skills and be able to give support on any resubmissions and be a good listener as you may need to provide support and guidance to students throughout the course.

You will need to be a reliable member of staff and have a good understanding of using computer systems.


You will need to be able to travel to and from workplaces regularly to meet students and workplace managers so must have access to transport as you will be required to travel all over the Northwest.


You need to be registered with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician and have an assessor qualification or is willing to work towards it.

You must have a person-centred approach and be must comply with the 9 GPHC standards and ensure you are professional at all times.
