What Will You Do?

Your mission will be to create a user experience that results in successful, clear and consistent designs that will delight our customers.

You will bring your unique talent to our team; assist our design leaders and expect to be routinely challenged with creative problem-solving, often with a short turnaround time.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate interfaces using usercentric design principles
• Generate graphic elements and assets used in implementation
• Work with the development team to design user experiences and to ensure the technical feasibility of designs
• Determine visual style, including colour scheme, typography, iconography
• Write recommendations to address existing interface and usability opportunities
• Proactively seek out opportunities for improved customer education on the site
• Conceive, document and evangelise user interface guidelines, standards and style guides
• Assist Product Management in authoring functional interaction requirements specifications
• Work in collaborative groups and is comfortable with complexity in navigation, content, or data

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a developer role preferred
• 3+ years of industry experience (including a design portfolio of previous projects)
• Strong knowledge of information architecture, cognitive ergonomics and design values
• Experience with collaborating successfully with engineers and other designers
• Experience with Web, Desktop and Mobile UX is a must
• Strong intellectual curiosity and a continuous ability to learn
• Knowledge of design principles, patterns and aesthetic design concepts
• Knowledge of human factors and principles of humancomputer interaction
• Independent selfstarter with strong project management skills
• Excellent organisation, communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Innate sense of how people perceive and interact with software
• Experience with video and multimedia content preferred
• Highly skilled with graphic design, presentation and UI prototyping tools (portfolio required)
• Practical experience of frontend development is a strong plus (HTML/CSS/JS, or more)
