Overview:

We are a new, friendly and supportive Gymnastics Club in Cambridgeshire and we are seeking a passionate and experienced Level 2 Senior Gymnastics Coach to join our team.

As our Senior Gymnastics Coach, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire athletes of all ages in the sport of gymnastics.

This is a paid position with opportunities for career growth and development. We are seeking a staff member who can willingly work across our Recreational Programme and our Women's Artistic Programme.

Duties:

Develop and implement gymnastics training programs for athletes at various skill levels
Instruct and demonstrate proper techniques, form, and safety procedures
Plan and lead engaging gymnastics classes, practices, competitions, badge schemes and holiday camps
Provide individualised coaching and feedback to help athletes improve their skills
Create a positive and supportive environment that fosters teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
Monitor athlete progress and track their performance in sessions and competitions
Collaborate with other coaches to develop training strategies and coordinate team activities as well as assisting and leading with CPD mentorship of young coaches
Ensure the safety of all athletes by enforcing gym rules and maintaining equipment cleanliness

Skills:

Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and rules
Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate athletes
Ability to adapt coaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with athletes of all ages
Strong organisational skills to plan training sessions and manage athlete progress
Ability to liaise with parent body, willingness and ability to learn administrative systems

All positions at our facility are paid positions. We value the expertise and dedication of our coaches and believe in compensating them accordingly.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Salary:
£26,000.00-£31,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
