To ensure all our goals are met we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated
Transport Logistics Clerk - Customer Service seeking a challenging opportunity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for this Key role include: -

• Working with an experienced team of controllers with over 50 vehicles.
• Answer incoming customer calls and entering on booking system.
• Answer incoming driver calls and deal proactively as required by controllers.
• Help with ensuring all jobs have proof of deliveries and customers are updated.
• Promote customers to utilise web booking facility.
• Observe the allocation of work to Couriers and ensure clear message has been received.
• Proactively monitor work in progress through to POD and completion. Ensure clients are updated with any delays or possible issues.
• Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA) in accordance with the targets set by the company and any customer specific SLA.
• Deal with all operational queries effectively and in a timely manner.
• Assist with production of KPI reports for customers.
• Ensure the customer experience exceeds expectations.

Essential Skills for this Key role: -

• Have experience working in the Logistics / Courier industry with good geographic knowledge of Manchester and cities across the UK.
• Would suit an experienced traffic clerk or customer service agent looking to progress in a direct frontline operational role.
• If you are currently working in the Transport, Courier or Taxi Industry looking to be part of a growing business this could be the opportunity for you.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in use of various computer systems.
