We are looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximise warehouse productivity.

The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logístical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation.

To be successful as a warehouse supervisor you should be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader.

The position is a working role in a warehouse featuring two man delivery products where you will be able to lead by example.

Shift pattern:
Monday to Friday 4 pm to 12.30 am

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.

Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.

Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods.

Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.

Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.

Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.

Your nightly tasks would be but not limited to:

Unload trunks and pick multiple items for the following days trips.
Ensure health & safety is maintained for the site on a nightly basis.
Ensure a high pick accuracy, reporting and actioning errors in order to find root causes
Maintain stock integrity by constantly checking locations, report any damages and dealing with any anomalies.
Supervise the night team and be point of contact in shift manager absence.
Ensure correct handover is given to the AM supervisor.
Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse at all times.
Report and deal with any accidents whilst on shift.
Continuous improvement.
Deal with any performance issues.
Conduct performance reviews.
Be able to step up and cover shift manager.

Ability to motivate and lead the night shift team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail
Capable of handling heavy/bulky items
Previous experience as a warehouse team leader / supervisor or a similar management position
Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
Time management skills and the ability to delegate
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Proven problem-solving skills
