We are a family run business established in 1978, renowned for speed, flexibility and quality in the production of specialised heating elements including immersion heater elements.

We aim to offer a personalised sales experience for our customers and the role is primarily reactive sales, however, a proactive individual capable of driving sales would be ideal.

Responsibilities and Duties
In-office based sales - you will play a key role in driving the team to manage the sales. From quotation to order to dispatch and aftercare.

Taking on the Complex enquiries and designs.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to time scales.

On the job training is provided, and may involve some time spent with the workshop team gaining a greater understanding of product and manufacturing techniques used here at TPFay.

Therefore, enabling you to share your expertise with customers across the UK and beyond.


Essential Criteria
2 years of sales experience

Understanding of basic electrical principles

Keen attention to detail

Enthusiastic confident telephone manner

Strong computer skills - including Microsoft office, order processing through production management software.

Customer Relationship Management experience

Experience of job costing and compiling quotations and bill of materials


Desirable Criteria
Auto CAD experience (to provide customers with technical drawings)

We are looking for somebody who considers themselves reliable, easy to work with and ideally with experience of manufacturing trades or similar.

For example, experience in a manufacturing or engineering field or Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Full UK driving license for occasional customer/supplier visits.


Hours
8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4pm Fridays. Based in our office in Knowsley with a smart casual dress code and a relaxed office atmosphere.

45 minutes lunch break per day with tea and coffee breaks throughout the day.

No overtime is expected, as we realise the importance of a work-life balance.

However, we offer performance based yearly bonus in addition to company pension, optional private medical cover, sick pay, pay reviews and free on-site parking.

Salary:
£28,366.00-£34,500.00 per year
