OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented EXPERIENCED Transport Planner to join our team. As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the transportation of goods and materials. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Working alongside other transport team members.
Duties
- Plan and schedule transportation routes to ensure efficient delivery of goods
- Coordinate with drivers, and customers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Track shipments and provide updates
- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in transport planning or logistics coordination
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using transportation management systems and software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

£27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
