We have a great opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team for the 2023 season at Monkey Tree Holiday Park.


You will be providing an efficient and professional reception service, working to increase all bookings/sales, and providing general administrative support.

This is offered on a Seasonal Contract until September 2023, with the potential to extend based on performance. The hours for this position are offered on a variable hour's basis which means flexibility is essential.

Business hours for reception are 8am to 10pm in peak season from Monday to Sunday.


What you will be doing:


  • Providing firstrate, efficient, and flexible customer service.
  • Greeting guests and checking them in and out of their accommodation.
  • Dealing with all adhoc customer queries/complaints, escalating to management as necessary.
  • Completing all general administrative duties.
  • Acting as the initial point of contact.
  • Dealing with third party booking agents.
  • Ensuring that all post/deliveries are sent on time.
  • Providing support to other departments where necessary.
  • Handling card payment transactions

What we are looking for:


  • Infectious personality, warm and welcoming by nature. With a polite and friendly approach, with excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Proactive individual who is ahead of the game rather than reacting to needs of the park and its guests.
  • Must work well under pressure, with the ability to use own initiative and problem solve.
  • A target driven and sales orientated approach. Practical experience of working in a sales environment (desirable).


  • Strong IT skills

  • Microsoft packages and booking system software.
  • Excellent organisation skills, able to prioritise tasks as necessary.
  • Strong team player
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
  • Smart appearance and professional manner.
  • Good sense of humour essential
