Workshop assistant
This is a brand new role within Skyner Engineering Services due to growth and full training will be given.

Day to day tasks are shown below but are not limited to:

Preparing materials for powder coating and wet painting and undertaking the painting.
Local delivery/collection driving.
Receiving, checking and booking materials and components in.
Implementing a stores system and managing the stock.
Assist with the generation of goods out documentation.
Booking finished goods into stock and packing of goods for delivery.
Ordering of workshop consumables, PPE etc
Involvement in procurement of engineering materials, tooling and consumables.
Carry out regular stock counts to ensure stock levels are accurate at all times.
Assisting senior members of staff and skilled tradesmen
General workshop housekeeping
Maintaining the tool and asset register and arranging repairs, services and pat test etc.
Complies with requirements of Health & Safety practices as outlined in the Company Health & Safety Policy and assists with the maintenance and generation of work instructions and procedures.
Performs other related workshop duties as required by the business.

Due to company vehicle insurance applicants must hold a UK driving licence and be 25 or older.
Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4.30pm

Friday: 8am - 3pm

Salary:
£12.00 per hour
