Summary
Initial position will be working days, for a training period (approx. 12weeks), after completion of training this will change to a shift position, reporting to the Production Manager. Responsible for the promotion of resins and provides assistance to the shift.

The Haverhill site has recently been acquired and is now part of AOC


The investment will allow AOC to further strengthen its ability to serve customers in the growing composites market in the UK.

AOC has also identified potential opportunities for expanding the capabilities of the Haverhill operations to further service the industry.

Key areas of accountability/responsibility

  • Promotion of resins on the plant in the process blenders following Manufacturing instructions
  • Completion of batch records for all operations.
  • Transferring product to and from bulk storage and charging raw materials for production use
  • Housekeeping tasks in the job holders work environment and maintaining high standards
  • Carrying out other tasks as reasonably requested by the Line manager.
  • Samples, taking, testing, liaising with QC and Technical department for batch corrections.

We are looking for

  • Team working and motivation
  • Following instructions, written, verbal and procedural
  • Math skills: conversion and calculation functions
  • GCSE (A-C) and/or O'level pass math's and english
  • Documentation skills: actions, recording and status monitoring
  • Chemical safety: MSDS, PPE, COSHH & HSE awareness.
  • Chemical handling: Measuring, weighing, and dosing
  • Laboratory skills: Testing, assessing, quantifying, correcting and recording
  • Equipment Operating: Mechanical, pneumatic, control & instrumentation
  • Manual handling, fork truck and other lifting equipment
  • PPE: BA (contained & remote )
  • Computer use: data entry and analysis
  • Operating and changing in line production filters

We offer

  • Average 40 hour working week.
  • Training period: Mon. to Fri.
08:00hrs to 17:00hrs

  • After training: Mon. to Fri.

12hr shift pattern:
07:00hr to 19:00hrs / 19:00hr to 07:00hrs / rest week

  • Starting salary range £25,000 £30,000 per annum, plus 20% shift allowance when trained and on shift.
  • Overtime rated pay structure
