Fixed term contract until 31 March 2025 | 37 hours per week | £35,411 to £37,261 per annum (Grade J) | Norwich


We are seeking an enthusiastic project facilitator to assist stakeholders in the development of high-quality economic projects, in order to support economic growth in Norfolk.


Based on a robust evidence base, the Norfolk Investment Framework (NIF) is a set of high-level investment priorities designed to tackle the major challenges that Norfolk faces, both over the short term, but also looking further ahead.


You will be expected to work with partnership groups in Norfolk, to understand place-based priorities, and to develop projects aligned to the Norfolk Investment Framework.

You will support knowledge transfer and workshops with partners. You will also have a passion for supporting stakeholders, with a particular focus on project facilitation.


The NIF Project Facilitator will also play a leading role on the delivery focussed activity of the Norfolk Investment Fund, a £600m programme of funding afforded to Norfolk County Council through the County Deal process.

Project facilitation support will be required with senior level stakeholders in the lead up to the fund launch.

As a result, work is required now, for the design and build of project pipeline for a funding programme, due to be launched in May 2024.


This role will act as the lead contact point for stakeholders on all issues project development issues relating to the Norfolk Investment Fund, providing expert advice on business case development - including guidance on Government's 5 case model (Strategic, Economic, Commercial, Financial, and Management); and the objectives and targets that projects within the programme should deliver against.


It will be an advantage to have experience of facilitation support for project bid submissions, both medium-large scale projects; coordinating partnerships, project management, and knowledge of UK government economic priorities to support growth.

All our office-based roles are hybrid as part of our Smarter Working plans. Your office base will be County Hall, Norwich.
