Fexco Retail Foreign Exchange (RFX) are currently recruiting for a Social Media Executive to join their team.

This role is a permanent, full-time position with the opportunity to work from our offices based in Hammersmith, London with flexibility to work a hybrid model.

Job Purpose:


As a Social Media Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive by owning the Social Media channels and delivering the Social Media strategy and the KPIs associated.

You will be responsible for the management and engagement of existing and new communities via our brands social media channels, helping to amplify and elevate the brand.

By utilising both organic and paid you will drive engagement across multiple channels driving growth in followers, likes, shares, comments and ultimately clickthrough's and conversions to help the business achieve its ambitious digital growth goals.

In addition to Social Media, you will also handle ad hoc marketing tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operational environment.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Support in the growth of our brands digital community in line with our strategy and milestones, building a deep understanding of our audience, their interests, and motivations to gain actionable insights to strengthen the connection to the brand.
  • Develop organic marketing communication strategies across social platforms, manage the execution of the content plan and calendar.
  • Manage the engagement with customers through social media marketing channels to reset brand perceptions and initiate positive interactions for the brand to help grow followers.
  • Inform and collaborate with different teams to deliver an approach and platform focus that is appropriate to the demographics, as well as identifying any unique requirements associated with the desired audience.
  • Challenge business as usual Seek out innovation, disrupt so we stand out and are known about with in our industry for our approach to the channel.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to build the seasonal content calendar and ensure the segmented requirements of the style choices and platforms are met in time.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure key insights and learnings are integrated across all social media campaigns.
  • Be a source of knowledge for engagement activations, best practice, benchmarks, the current and potential audience, social data, trends, insights, and future thinking.
  • Contribute towards reporting (weekly/ad hoc) on the performance of social marketing programs, reviewing results by tactic to proactively recognise and optimise audience interactions, and inform on future content briefs.
  • Reactive to current Social Media trends and be able to adapt to our brand and industry
  • Have customers at the centre of everything you do.

Qualifications/ Experience Required:


Essential:

  • 1 year experience of Social Media in a commercial environment.
  • Be able to produce digital image and video content for Social Media channels using appropriate software.
  • Having experience in 'Paid' Social Media campaigns.
  • Proven use of Google Analytics, Meta Ads.

Desirable:

  • Social Media in a B2C environment, preferably retail.
  • Experience in other paid media advertising such as PPC, Google Ads etc.

  • Passionate, energetic and identify with our brands customers and their cultures.
  • Experienced at successfully rolling out brand campaigns and plans.
  • Proven track record of prospecting growing and engaging the right social audiences and communities of brand advocates, you understand customers and how to translate behaviours into insights and actions.
  • Understanding and experience of the 'paid' aspects of social and digital and the commercial drivers of success.
  • Experience of using Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Advertising among other social advertising platforms to build, optimise and analyse.
