Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Edinburgh office location.

Within Workplace, our purpose is to help pension customers secure life beyond work and save adequately for the future they choose.
The Workplace Experience Lab leads on the development of new digital propositions for our customers. This includes digital access to your workplace pension (e.g. pensions value, fund switching, pot consolidation and nomination of beneficiaries) and various support tools.
The Lab's aim is to deliver the future vision and roadmap for our digital proposition to the workplace pensions market.
We have exciting plans to develop digital products which will drive Scottish Widows towards being #1 in the market.
As Product Owner, you'll be pivotal in shaping this vision and setting the strategic direction of the Lab alongside the Engineering Lead.
You'll drive the delivery of change to help our pension members, advisers and employers, which in turn will help us to achieve significant growth in Assets under Management through the acquisition of new clients and retention of existing business.
You'll be a storyteller, sharing our progress internally & and external via your networks, to showcase what we're delivering and the benefits for customers.

What you'll be doing:
- Responsibility for shaping and delivering our Workplace digital proposition to customers, advisers and employers through Scottish Widows digital.
- Ownership of Lab products roadmap.
- Inputs into business 4 Year Operating Plan, customer plan and tech roadmap as required.
- Own the Platform, Lab Objectives and Key Results which provide product performance and benefits realisation data.
- Ensures change compliance of overall Lab and accountability for product change governance, business readiness activities (e.g., training and comms).
- You'll be a prominent leader in the Platform with line management responsibilities for more junior Product Owners.

- Strong experience of product ownership to deliver platform backlog, ensuring quality performance and innovation to deliver successful products.
- You'll be a groundbreaking leader and an advocate for digital transformation.
- A customer and culture first approach. You'll promote the value of customer outcomes with your team, anticipating customer's needs and using customer inputs to present targeted, integrated, and outcomefocused solutions and opportunities.
- Ability to manage sophisticated partner networks using internal networks to deliver change at pace.
- Experience building a high performing team environment. You'll inspire delivery whilst encouraging simplicity and developing confidence and trust.
- Knowledge of Workplace pensions and the regulatory landscape affecting our business would be beneficial.
