Cloud Engineer | AWS Migration Project | Multiple Locations Available | Up to £60, % Bonus | Hybrid Working (2 days per week onsite) | 2 Stage Interview Process
Yolk Recruitment are supporting a global technology consulting firm in their search for a Cloud Migration Engineers. This role is perfect for a critical thinker with experience in AWS platforms and managing complex operational processes.


This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a human-led and tech-powered team delivering sustained outcomes for recognisable organisations worldwide.


The role can be based in any of their offices (Cardiff, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh) & they operate hybrid working with 2 days per week onsite.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Customisation, configuration, and integration of GNU/Linux software
  • Implementation of bespoke NiFi processors and integration with commercial security software
  • Ansible deployment automation of software upgrades and Linux configuration
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
  • Performance analysis and improvement of multiple large clusters
  • Third line support of production environments

Essential Criteria:


  • Debugging and troubleshooting complex production issues
  • Technology lifecycle management and operational resilience
  • AWS PaaS and/or serverless, release deployment, upgrades, CICD
  • Experience in a client facing / consultancy role would be beneficial.
