A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a turnaround home based in Wakefield.

This is a large home providing nursing, residential and dementia care in luxury surroundings.

The home has gone through a period of significant change and is in need of a supportive and inspiring manager who is experienced in delivering high quality care.

This is a great opportunity to join this new provider in growing this home into a centre of excellence. The group has great resources and an experienced Senior Leadership team.

This role offers a perfect opportunity to rebuild and lead change to create anamazing care team and home in the Wakefield area.


Requirements:


  • Nurse Qualified with an active NMC Pin
  • A proven track record leading nursing homes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of care service practices, legislation, regulations and standards
  • Experience in turnaround is desirable
  • IT skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Hold CQC Registration
  • Responsible for the health and social care needs for all service users within the home
  • Lead and mentor care and clinical team
  • Ensure compliance across the home
  • Manage budgets and financial targets
  • Work with the Regional Manager to achieve home KPI

Contract, Remuneration and benefits:
- £60,000 plus bonus

  • 40hrs per week
