You would be there to help facilitate this by offering care and support where it is needed.


Your Role:


Caring for a young gentleman with some complex needs: accompanying him to the day centre, along with another carer you will be keeping the client entertained and engaged in a range of activities.

Skills and personal characteristics needed to be a carer are:


  • Caring and kind with a desire to make a difference to client's lives.
  • Cheerful and friendly.
  • Willing to be handson with clients at all times while following their care plan.
  • Willing to do personal care tasks (washing, toileting, etc.)
  • Willing to undertake more complex care including tracheostomy, nebulizers, peg feeding or stoma and Bowel care.
  • Administering medication.
  • Able to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Able to work in a team but also use their own initiative.
  • Willing to adapt with ongoing training as client's practice and needs may change.

Available shifts:

Various shifts 07:00 - 09:00, 09:00 - 16:00 and 16:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday

07:00 - 20:00 Saturday and Sunday.
