The Role:


As an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Gett you will be responsible for collections of outstanding debt for Gettaxi and will be involved in planning course of action to recover outstanding payments.

You will maintain the days sales outstanding (DSO) of Gett and conduct credit background checks on existing and new customers, as well as resolving queries that are dealing with invoices being settled on time.

You will also have the chance to analyse clients credit limits and resolve issues such as the improper use of credit limit extensions.

Systems you will be using will be Salesforce, SAP and bespoke Gett internal platforms


Responsibilities:


  • Managing and monitoring approximately clients
  • Timely and effective collection of all outstanding debts and customers payments
  • Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
  • Investigate and resolve client discrepancies
  • Control overdue clients through various different platform tools
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
  • Create trust relationship with debtors when possible to avoid future issues
  • Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
  • Working with debt collections agency and reviewing progress reports
  • Ensure there is an adequate provision for doubtful debt
  • Addressing ongoing customer complaints/concerns or billing issues which may delay payment of the client
  • Update accounts status and database regularly

Experience and Soft Skills:


  • 3 years experience within Accounts Receivable (AR) function
  • Good understanding of credit control procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of all accounts receivable functions.
  • Excellent time management/organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)

  • Chris Christofi is our Global Credit Controller & O2C Lead and your managerHe will be wanting to get to know your experience in relation to Accounts Receivable in more detail (so expect more technical questions) but also you as a person. This is also a great opportunity to ask him some questions

Focused + Values (1hr Video Call)
  • Here you will meet 2 people from Gett (1 direct team member and 1 senior member of the business) they will be asking questions around competencies for the role (analytical skills, communication skills, decision making, listening and time management) as well as around our values. You will also have the chance to ask the team some questions too
