This role will support the Social Media Lead to manage our social media presence across all platforms, both paid and organic, and our influencer programme.

This role will take the lead on ensuring our organic social presence is up to date. It is a fantastic opportunity to work on both social and influencer content for two big brands. A real opportunity to get creative and help develop something really innovative and fun. The perfect role for someone who loves social media and looking for that next step.


What you will do as a Social Media Associate

  • Publish the organic, campaign, always on and reactive communications across all social channels, in line with the brand strategy and customer plan
  • Maintain the brand's social presence across platforms, ensuring profile pages, header images, pinned posts etc are up to date
  • Support on aspects of our influencer programme, working with product teams to secure product nominations and signing off influencers with support from the campaign team
  • Manage use of social media management software and tools
  • Tracking, measurement, insight and reporting of social and influencer activity
  • Ensure the brand acts in line with our social media governance guidelines, maintaining password security and access to accounts
  • Liaise with the Customer Services team to ensure they are aware of upcoming social campaigns and how these may impact on customer communications via social channels
  • Support the brand communications team on social creative execution

What we'd like to see from you

  • Excellent project and crossfunctional stakeholder management skills, ideally proven across brands/functions
  • Experience of working with digital media, creative or influencer agencies
  • Knowledge of social media tools and platforms (e.g. Sprinklr)
  • Knowledge of Sainsbury's business (desirable)
  • A passion for social media and the digital landscape
  • Selfmotivated problem solver who can operate in a fastpaced environment being comfortable under pressure
  • Strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
