Permanent, Full Time

£33,000

Hybrid - 2 Days London Office, 3 Days Homebased but flexibility required, 35 hours


We are currently recruiting for an Events Executive to join a national charity to join their team based out of London.

As Events Executive you will be working to deliver specific flagship events as Project Manager, collaborate with colleagues from other fundraising income streams (Corporates,

community and volunteer led fundraising, Trusts, Gifts in Wills, individual giving

etc.), seeking to ensure that the range of Charity fundraising opportunities are catered for within the events as appropriate.


Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage the project plan for all relevant events, including contract negotiations, recruitment, sponsorship,
supporter journeys, volunteer recruitment, transportation, equipment, and multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Nurture and build relationships with suppliers, participants, sponsors, volunteers, internal stakeholders, and
other industry contacts, to craft and implement creative and logístical aspects of all relevant events.

  • Lead, and attend meetings as required with project managers of other events, within the pan charity thematic
area of Bespoke Events, to ensure consistency and thus productivity across the programme.

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of best practice with relation to event marketing, supporter care and fundraising.
  • Coordinate with internal staff, suppliers, volunteers, and others to establish the requirements for events, and
serve as liaison to senior management throughout the planning process.

  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure that tarqets and KPls
are delivered.

  • Oversee fundraisers/supporters' experiences from initial interest through to postevent; ensuring consistent,
high-level support throughout all phases, with a specific focus on increasing average gifts and improving

retention.

  • Maintain and build a comprehensive database of industry contacts.

Skills and experience required:

  • Event experience as part of a fundraising team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and work effectively with all elements of the Charity and
supporters.

  • A selfstarter, proactive, collegiate, with drive and commitment.
  • Computer literate, comfortable with MS Office tools.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Strong empathy with the cause of the Charity and its beneficiaries.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferable).
