Responsibilities:


  • Create solutions based around business technology to meet customers renewable engineering needs
  • Prepare technical tenders for submittal to customers
  • Prepare cost estimation for the solutions created
  • Organise onsite testing to demonstrate the effectiveness of the solutions
  • Presentations at customers, trade associations and seminars to highlight the benefits of the products and solutions
  • Identify and implement opportunities for Engineering improvements so that the business can deliver the business goals
  • Develop costing tools to ensure tenders are submitted in a timely manner
  • Improve product knowledge by organising training throughout the year
  • Ensure solutions are visible in the marketplace through paper presentation at technical seminars etc.
  • Identify ways to integrate technology into solutions that differentiate from competition and create new IP

The Person:


  • Engineering degree is essential
  • Previous experience of working on renewables or O&G would be an advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Good organisational skills with a high degree of selfmotivation
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as being selfmotivated
  • Fully computer literate including good MS office skills
