Are you a successful manager looking for a role to take our social care services to the next level?
A fantastic new opportunity has become available to work as a Registered Manager for our client, a charity dedicated to making sure Deaf people get the same sort of access as hearing people to healthcare and health information.

Salary:
£47,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location:
Leeds
Hours: 9am-5pm, 37 hours per week, full time
About the role:
As a Registered Manager, you will set up a new team to provide services to 4 clients within a supported living environment and be responsible for the day-to-day management, development, compliance and expansion of our brand-new service, including the linemanagement of the team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to clients
You will create an environment that supports clients with their daily support needs and enables them to pursue their lives hobbies and interests.
You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, multi-disciplinary teams, clinical commissioning groups, social services, local statutory, voluntary, and community groups, and agencies.
About you:
The ideal person for this role will be a Registered Learning Disability Nurse or Mental Health Nurse or hold a professional qualification in a related field, you will also have experience in the following:
Are you a Registered Learning Disability Nurse or Mental Health Nurse or hold a professional qualification in a related field?
- Do you have extensive experience working in supported living services and/or residential care services?
- Do you have experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health where the diagnosis is complex and may present behaviour that can challenge the passion to make a difference?
- Do you have Level 5 Leadership and Management in Social Care?
- You will be responsible for the daytoday management, development, compliance, and expansion of our brandnew service, including the line management of the team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to clients.
- You will create an environment that supports clients with their daily support needs and enables them to pursue their lives hobbies and interests.
- You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, clinical commissioning groups, social services, local statutory, voluntary, and community groups, and agencies.
- Do you have experience working with people with varying degrees of deafness, including culturally deaf?
- Can you communicate in British Sign Language? or do you have the willingness to learn BSL?
Working with your Line Manager you will receive an in-depth induction to give you abreast insight into the charity and what we do.
