A Senior Housing Management Services Officer is required to play a key role in managing Anti-Social Behavior and Domestic Abuse Case Work, collaborating with internal and external agencies to assess risks for victims of Domestic Abuse and implement safety measures and support packages for victims.

You should have proven experience in managing complex Domestic Abuse and ASB cases effectively to a successful conclusion.

Ideally, you should possess a level 4 and level 5 Housing Qualification or be able to demonstrate active progress towards these certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively support improvements by advising on national and local changes in anti-social behavior and domestic abuse policies and changes to statutory duty.
  • Manage an ASB and domestic abuse caseload efficiently across the managed housing stock, including Colne Park, across various occupancy arrangements.
  • Maximize opportunities to support vulnerable tenants to manage and mitigate tenancy risks effectively, positively impacting unacceptable behaviors.
  • Ensure appropriate and proportionate responses to tenancy breaches in the Council's capacity as a responsible social landlord.

Qualifications:
  • Hold a level 4 and level 5 Housing Qualification or provide evidence of working towards these qualifications.
  • Show evidence of continuous professional development.
  • A good education level with English & Math GCSE grades A-C or equivalent.
  • IDVA Qualification is desirable.

Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex Domestic Abuse and ASB cases to a successful resolution.
  • Supervisory experience and monitoring of casework's quantitative and qualitative aspects.
  • Risk assessment experience of Domestic Abuse victims using the Save Lives Framework.
  • Effective management of diverse and complex caseloads with various vulnerabilities.
  • Identification and response to risk factors related to tenancy failure individually and collaboratively.
  • Delivering innovative solutions to engage vulnerable and socially excluded residents securely.
  • Proven ability to operate flexibly and effectively during times of significant internal and environmental changes.
