Description
Here at the North Pier we are looking for an experienced supervisor to join our team.
Immediate start required.

  • Serve and present beverages, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
  • To keep the place of work clean, tidy and up to a high standard of presentation in both public and staff only areas
  • Assist in keeping the bar, frontofhouse and toilets clean and tidy, at all times
  • Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
  • Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range
  • Speak to customers to ensure that they are satisfied with their experience
  • Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Assist in keeping wastage to a minimum by the correct pouring and measurement of products
  • Organize and participate in beginning of shift and end of shift meetings to relay expected targets for the shift, notes and issues with a review at the end of the shift to debrief and collate worthwhile records to improve future performance
  • Encourage a sales and service led team effort meeting and exceeding goals and targets
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing inhouse training and workbooks
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team and venue directors.

  • Willingness to adapt to other duties as required to meet business needs from time to time.
  • Assist in other venue(s) parts of the business
  • Promotional duties to promote upcoming events and shows.

CIRCUMSTANCESESSENTIALDESIRABLE

  • Ability to travel easily to and from work
  • Ability to commit to a flexible rota
  • Have proof of right to work in the UK
  • Have a UK bank account in your own name
  • Be able to converse in English
  • Have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the venue
  • Ability to take on extra shifts at short notice

Salary:
£10.80 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

  • Blackpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
