My client in
London is looking for an experienced
Band 5 Immunology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract.

Job Role:

Monday
Friday
5 hrs p/w
To participate in the provision of the Immunosuppression monitoring service performing a range of highly technical procedures within the laboratory to a high standard in line with the department standard operating procedures.
To rotate into the routine biochemistry/blood science laboratory as and when required.
To participate in other Laboratory Medicine testing initiatives in collaboration with other departments, e.g. Covid19 testing.
To assist the department in complying with UKAS ISO15189 standards.
To assist in the daytoday tasks within the laboratory including stock control, specimen reception and instrument maintenance.
To perform all core scientific work, consistent with training and qualifications of a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Biomedical Scientist (BMS).
To comply with all departmental policies, protocols and standard operating procedures including health and safety.
To improve professional expertise and specialist skills by active participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
To participate in the outofhours rota after appropriate training and competency assessment.
