Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA (Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant) to join our team.

As an SEN TA, you will work closely with children with autism and other special educational needs, providing support and assistance in their educational journey.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and help them reach their full potential.


Responsibilities:


  • Work oneonone or in small groups with children with special educational needs, including those with autism
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Provide guidance and assistance to students during classroom activities
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the needs of students are met
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians
  • Assist with personal care tasks, if required

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of autism and other special educational needs
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with children
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students' individual needs
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in early years or toddler care
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies

Salary:
£11.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
