Description

Working for a well known broadcaster, the Consumer Publicity Manager will be working across the network and 2 channel brands.

You will be creating exciting publicity campaigns and we require someone with a track record of innovative publicity.

This role works across a wide variety of programming genres and publicity tactics from headline grabbing stunts, immersive events as well as high profile talent and programme campaigns.

Duties include:

Deliver award winning, innovative consumer communication campaigns for shows and channel brands

Work alongside channel teams, marketing, creative, social and media planning to deliver 360 campaigns

Liase with national, regional, digital and TV media proactively promote programming channels and Multiplatform initiatives

Research, write and implement communication strategies for channel brands and programmes that align with and complement the wider comms team

Manage and nurture talent and producer relationships

Present results of your campaigns internally

Effectively manage budgets and report on ROI forecasting across the channels with the scheduling teams

Build relationships for the team with Commissioning, Acquisitions, channel teams and external production companies and suppliers to coordinate all publicity

Work with Head of Consumer Comms on annual channel strategies

Be responsible for the management and development of your team

Skills & Experience
Demonstrable experience as a creative, proactive consumer communications professional with TV/broadcast experience

Excellent negotiator, presenter, influencer and relationship manager

Effective management experience and can develop team members

Excellent copywriting skills

Genuine passion for TV

Proactive, creative, professional

Able to think creatively about how to launch shows, build channel brands

Be fully conversant with specific and overall market/competitor knowledge to make sound judgements
