Warehouse Operative - Permanent Role
Based at Huncoat

The Senator Group is a major employer in the Burnley, Hyndburn and Blackburn area employing 1200+ staff across its Lancashire based manufacturing sites.

We design and manufacture innovative office furniture which we supply to our customers worldwide.

We currently looking to recruit an experienced
Warehouse Operative who will be responsible for supporting the stores/warehouse function in handling goods throughout the department ensuring stock movement is achieved in the most efficient way.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick, when required any stock for delivery to production, ensuring stock is delivered according to schedule and delivery deadline guidelines.
Where required and trained to do so, operate stores fleet & equipment (FLT, VNA, PED trucks) in an efficient, accurate & safe manner.
Maintain a high quality attitude, protect from damage when picking/delivering stock, remember to put our customers first in everything we do.
Keep working downtime to a minimum, ensuring downtime is kept to scheduled breaks.
To ensure where required, parts are put away adhering to process, following the scanning process to ensure stock is accurate at all times.
To maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the stores department.
