VEQTER Ltd is a leading-edge spin-out company from the University of Bristol employing unique technology and expertise for residual stress measurement, analysis, and management in engineering components.

Located in the BS4 region of Bristol and a team of ten, we are looking for a self-motivated business/finance administrator with strong interpersonal skills and a thorough understanding of business operations to support organisational needs and ensure efficient business operations, to replace our existing one, who is due to take early retirement at the end of May.


Business/Finance Administrator Responsibilities:


  • Bookkeeping and cashflow operations, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking and credit card consolidation.
  • End of month financial tasks to support external bookkeepers.
  • Oversee daytoday business activities, including dealing with suppliers and customers. Arranging shipping and/or collection of components.
  • Improve business programs and policies.
  • Executive level admin support, including attending Board Meetings, taking minutes.
  • Business travel planning.
  • Continual review and improvement of existing processes.
  • ISO:9001 harmonisation.
  • Plan and execute organisational activities including training and social events.

Business/Finance Administrator Requirements:


  • Business admin degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • Broad business knowledge
  • Excellent networking and organisational skills.
  • Accounting and SAGE finance experience.
  • ISO 9001 experience (not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and processing skills.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Approachable, fun and caring nature.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 20-25 per week


Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
