Avid Personnel are proud to be representing our Engineering client based in the Frodsham area in their search for a Machine Operative.

Job Description and Duties of a Machine Operator

Operates a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available.
Measures and aligns materials to be used.
Meeting targets and deadlines
Using hand and power tools
Forklift truck Counter balance license (preferred)
Will have previous Press Brake experience (Desirable)
Engineering Qualifications (preferred)
Must have a license and vehicle due to location of site (Essential)
