Job description

We have an exciting opportunity in our Counselling, Health & Social Sciences Department (UCEN Manchester) to join us as a Work Placement Officer
on a permanent, part time (18.5 hours per week) basis.

As a Work Placement Officer, you will be responsible to develop work placement opportunities with employers in order to provide placements for learners within the department.

Also, you will be supporting students, tutors and employers, to ensure learners complete placements and achieve their qualifications.

In order to do this, you will need:

Awareness of relevant Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures
Appropriate industry experience.
Appropriate Assessor Qualification
Prior experience working in an education setting
Support sourcing placements, vetting and assessing in the work placement within the Directorate
Extensive travelling within the Greater Manchester area
