Multiple Cheshire West & Chester Secondary Schools are looking for Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants to support teachers and students from 17th April.

As a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting students with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1-1 or small group basis.

These secondary schools have their own Designated Provisions where you will be supporting these students

The schools are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate, adaptable and enthusiastic.

A Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification and experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.

With multiple roles available, we have full-time, part-time and day-to-day work available.

Have relevant, recent experience within the high school age range
Engage and support children in their learning through a variety of strategies
Feedback to teaching staff regarding progress and outcomes
Have a positive approach to managing behaviour
Develop positive relationships with children and staff

Requirements:

Hold an Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or are willing to undertake a new one
Full and complete 10year career history
Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
Legal right to work in the UK
