We're looking for someone who will take a strategic, well-researched and planned approach to selling our top quality, innovative products.

Someone who can effectively use our Make it better philosophy to generate sales revenue from existing, inactive andnew customers in a variety of powder processing industries, both hygienic and industrial, across the Midlands and South of the UK.

Main responsibilities

  • Maintain the database to ensure that all required information is kept up to date.
  • Ensure all site visits are exploited for maximum benefit, ie meet the right people, walk the plant, record all useful information and continually seek opportunities to use the company's Make it better approach.
  • Follow up all enquiries and quotations promptly.
Review the database daily and take any action required.

  • Focus all efforts on generating the required level of sales revenue, following processes diligently and reviewing progress regularly with line manager.
  • Actively promote the organisation's products and services on social media.
Attend exhibitions.

  • Follow all appropriate H&S systems for site visits, including using the appropriate PPE.
Key skills/qualities

  • Highly commercially astute, able to create or recognise a sales opportunity and capitalise on it.
  • A proven track record in sales, ideally in powder processing sectors.
  • Technical knowledge of equipment and processes used in powder processing sectors.
  • Tenacious and target driven.
Ambitious and highly motivated to succeed.

  • Selfstarter, proactive.
  • Meticulous planner who pays excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to listen well.
  • Superb communicator who knows when to listen rather than talk.
A natural networker.

  • Strategic thinker and natural problem solver.
  • Independent, confident and resilient.
  • Wellturned out, likeable and honest.
Hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

23 days' holiday plus public holidays.

Discretionary bonus scheme.
